The 2027 event will celibate cars that have been modified, that represent the owner’s personal design visions, that are individualized and unique. Cars that are the product of thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Less emphasize on modifications for power and performance.
We are looking for elegance more than attitude.
The show will gather cars that broadly fit within four fundamental traditions. They can be viewed in historical order, with the recognition that there is much overlap.
Hot Rod – Making a car faster, lighter, and mechanically superior, with appearance often following function. Cars from 1920 – 1940 usual basis.
Traditional California Custom – Making a production car more elegant through subtle body refinement, emphasizing proportion, restraint, and craftsmanship.
Show Car – Building a rolling work of art designed to demonstrate creativity, fabrication skill, and visual impact, often without concern for practicality.
Modern Customs blend elements of these traditions. May combine California-style body refinement with hot rod performance and show-car-quality execution. Incorporates the latest technology
